A sterilization pot, also known as a sterilization vessel or sterilizer, is equipment used in fields such as food and pharmaceuticals for product sterilization. Its structure consists of a pot body, a pot lid, an opening mechanism, locking wedges, a safety interlock device, a track system, sterilization baskets, steam nozzles, and multiple pipe ports. The pot lid is sealed using an inflatable silicone rubber sealing ring that is temperature-resistant, ensuring reliable and durable sealing performance. The inner pot is made of austenitic stainless steel and is equipped with a pressure gauge and a safety valve, combining both safety and corrosion resistance characteristics.
This equipment uses pressurized steam as its heat source and features high thermal efficiency and stable temperature control. According to the control mode, it is divided into four categories: manual, electric semi-automatic, computer-assisted semi-automatic, and fully automatic. Its temperature-control accuracy can reach ±0.1℃. The sterilization methods include hot-water circulation, steam, and spray types; among these, the spray type can be further subdivided into rotary and static varieties. In terms of structural classification, there are six types: single-tank, double-layer, vertical, rotary, and others. The materials used are entirely made of stainless steel. When selecting the appropriate model, it is essential to consider factors such as temperature-control accuracy, uniformity of heat distribution, and product characteristics. For example, soft-packaged foods are recommended to use the spray-type sterilization method, while gas-filled packaging should be paired with a fully automatic control system.
